This Powerline Ethernet Adapter Kit [PEAK] allows you to network
your home computers, networking devices and gaming devices through
the most pervasive medium in your house - the electric power lines -
and share Internet connections, printers, transfer files, play
games, and more. You can also use the kit to extend a Wi-Fi network
to the furthest part of the house or facility by using power lines.
The Powerline Ethernet Adapter Kit can also be used to link through
a power line two network devices such as the iHub and
a broadband router, allowing a wireless connection between your iHub and the router.
HOW IT WORKS
First, plug in one of the Ethernet Adapters into an electricity
source. You use a Cat5e networking cable to connect your Ethernet
Adapter to your ethernet-accepting machine.
Then, plug in another Ethernet Adapter into an electricity source
beside your wired/ wireless router. Use a Cat5e networking cable to
connect your Ethernet Adapter to the router.
Finally, follow the simple set-up procedures in the Installation
Guide to activate the wireless connection between your ethernet-accepting
machine and the router.
